Life is a complicated, confusing, jumbled mess — each of us shaped by our own experiences. I am continually reminded of how essential it is to remain open to hearing what others have to say. My work wishes to offer a visual space to address issues that matter to me. Through humorous landscapes, both familiar and unexpected, the viewer is invited to explore a layered universe of oddly incongruous inhabitants. A world both light-hearted and serious, a place where everyone might feel they can belong. And through the medium of textile one is offered an even softer, more cordial portal to visit.
